CRITIC'S CORNER: TOTO'S SEVENTH ONE

Seventh One was released in 1988, and the best-received Toto album since Toto IV. The fact was most publications and magazines eventually ranked the album as Toto's second best behind only Toto IV. The singles were female names again Anna and Pamela. The album got a Gold certification of sales in 1989, again below Toto IV.

The singer for Seventh One is none other than JOSEPH WILLIAMS, son of the classical soundtrack composer and conductor JOHN WILLIAMS who did JAWS, ET ,CLOSE ENCOUNTERS, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ART, STAR WARS, SCHINDLER'S LIST and JURASSIC PARK.
